r-hβ2M is produced by DNA recombinant procedure in E. Coli. Amino acid sequence of r-hβ2M is exactly the same as the native one.

The reactivity using immunostained anti human β2M (recombinant human β2-microglobulin) after western blotting could not be distinguished from natural form.
